What Qualifies as a Mini Move?
A mini move usually includes 1–2 items or a simple job that does not take more than about 1 hour of labor. This may include furniture moving, loading or unloading help, in-home moving, basic assembly/disassembly, or a small delivery.

For jobs that require 2 professional movers for a short labor-only assignment, depending on item size, stairs, complexity, and access conditions.
1 Mover Small Delivery
$150 – $200
For small deliveries or short transport jobs with 1 mover, depending on total time, access conditions, and item type.
2 Movers Small Delivery
$250 – $300
For a small delivery or mini move with 2 movers when the job includes loading, transportation to another address, and unloading.
Distance & Dispatch Policy
We may dispatch mini moves from our Massachusetts parking and operating locations, including areas such as Waltham and Newton.
As long as the travel time from our location to your place takes no more than 1 hour, and the return from the final location back to parking also takes no more than 1 hour, the flat rate stays the same as quoted.
In other words, if the total travel time to get to your location and then return from the final location back to parking does not exceed 2 hours total, the rate does not change.
If that total travel time goes beyond the normal range, the price may be recalculated depending on the distance, the number of movers required, and whether a truck is needed. In those cases, the final price may be higher than the listed flat rates.
Heavy Item Fee
If you have a very large or heavy item such as a piano, treadmill, safe, or another oversized item, the job may require a separate heavy item fee.
Heavy item moves must be reviewed with the office first, because the final price depends on several important details, including the item type, approximate weight, stairs, floor level, elevator access, entry angles, tight hallways, and overall difficulty of the move.

Buying Your Own Packing Materials

Before buying anything, we recommend calling the office first. We can guide you on what materials are actually worth buying and where to get quality options for a better price.
We generally do not recommend buying materials from places like U-Haul, Home Depot, or similar stores without checking with us first.
Some options are overpriced, and some materials are not ideal for certain types of moves. Call our office first, and we will point you in the right direction.
Loading Only
If you are renting your own truck and only need help loading it, we can send a crew to load everything professionally and efficiently.
If you are moving out of state or going a long distance, furniture should be protected with blankets, and straps should be used to help secure the load and reduce shifting during transport.
Because every loading-only job is different, please call the office to discuss the details and receive the right recommendation.
Important Note About Responsibility
We can load items exactly as they are, without wrapping or protection, if that is what you request.
However, if you choose loading only without proper packing or protection, the work will be performed under your responsibility, and you will sign an agreement confirming that once loading is completed, our company is released from responsibility for damage during transit.
For better protection, we recommend using blankets, mattress covers, wrapping paper, and other proper materials when needed.
Unloading Only
Unloading-only service is usually more straightforward. If your truck is already packed and you only need help unloading at the final destination, our crew can unload the truck, bring everything inside, and place items where needed based on your directions.
