- Efficiently pack, load, and unload customer belongings
- Use blankets, straps, and tools to protect furniture
- Work cooperatively with crew members throughout the job
- Communicate professionally with customers at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized truck and work environment
- 1+ years of moving experience preferred
- Ability to lift 75–150 lbs with assistance
- Strong work ethic and team-player mindset
- Professional demeanor with customers
Driver / Mover
Moving driver jobs in Massachusetts require someone who is both comfortable behind the wheel of a large truck and capable of working the job alongside the crew. If you have a clean driving record, this role is for you.
- Safely operate company moving trucks (16–26 ft box trucks)
- Perform pre-trip truck inspection and daily log completion
- Navigate Massachusetts roads to customer pickup and delivery locations
- Assist crew with loading and unloading on every job
- Ensure truck is clean, fueled, and ready for next day
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license (clean record required)
- Experience driving box trucks or large vehicles preferred
- Moving experience a strong plus
- Punctual and safety-conscious
Lead Mover / Foreman
Moving foreman jobs in Massachusetts require leadership, experience, and excellent customer service. As a foreman, you’ll run the job from start to finish and be the face of Pack & Go Moving for every customer interaction.
- Lead and direct the moving crew throughout each job
- Communicate with customers before, during, and after the move
- Conduct truck inspection and manage daily log
- Ensure furniture and belongings are protected and handled correctly
- Complete job report and coordinate with dispatch at job completion
- Represent Pack & Go Moving professionally at all times
- 2+ years of moving experience required
- Valid driver’s license (required for truck operation)
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer-facing professionalism

A Typical Day on the Job

Receive Your Job Details
In the morning, you’ll receive job details for the day — addresses, crew info, and any special notes about the move.
Arrive at the Truck & Yard
Meet your crew at the designated parking location. Punctuality matters — the crew depends on everyone being ready on time.
Inspect the Truck & Supplies
Check the truck condition, cleanliness, fuel level, and confirm all supplies are on board: blankets, straps, tools, and dollies.
Complete the Daily Log
The foreman or driver completes the daily vehicle inspection log before any movement of the truck.
Call the Customer & Confirm Arrival
Before heading to the job, the foreman calls the customer to confirm the arrival window and address any questions.
Arrive & Execute the Move
Meet the customer, assess the job, protect furniture with blankets, and begin loading the truck efficiently and safely.
Unload & Place at Destination
Deliver every item to the correct room, reassemble furniture if needed, and make sure the customer is satisfied before leaving.
Report Job Completion
Foreman reports job completion to dispatch, returns truck to the yard, and prepares for the following day’s schedule.
